About

Road, mountain, gravel, cruiser, electric … we’re bike agnostic. If it has pedals and two wheels in Florida, we’re into it. With an average temperature of 72 degrees, Florida’s not a bad place to live and with that nice of weather, it’s an awesome place to ride.

Our goal is to share the Florida cycling community with the world. Looking for a Florida Bike Shop? We’ve got you covered. Looking to join a Bicycle Club in Florida? Look no further. Interested is seeing what Florida Bike Events are happening? We’ve got that, too!

From racing news to trail guides and gear reviews, we hope you find what you’re looking for and come back often.

Who are we?

Justinian Hatfield is FloridaBicycling.com’s editor. Justinian grew up outside of Denver, Colorado. As a 14-year-old he got a job working at the famous Casa Bonita Mexican restaurant and put a Trek Antelope 820 mountain bike on layaway. After falling in love with road cycling, Justinian bought his first road bicycle (a 7-speed Cannondale r-400), with $1,000 he got from his grandfather’s estate.

Justinian moved to Florida in 2019. On most lunch hours he can be found riding the Pinellas Trail between Dunedin and Tarpon Springs. Justinian’s current quiver include a 90s resto-mod Bianchi Vento 605, a single speed 27.5+ mountain bike and a Raleigh Willard gravel bike.
