The Ride1Up LMT’D V2 is a redesigned torque-sensor equipped urban and trail exploring Electric Bike from the California eBike company.
The aluminum alloy frame is home to 27.5-inch wheels wrapped in 2.4″ WTB groov-e tires. An SR Suntour XCM32 ATB suspension fork offers 100mm of travel to absorb any bumps in the road or trail.
Stopping is courtesy of Tektro HD-M285 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors on the front and rear. Shimano provides the shifting via an 1×8 speed drivetrain.
On the electronic side of the bike, the integrated torque sensor provides a responsive, and intuitive riding experience, giving riders improved efficiency and control with each pedal stroke. A 48v angled-gear hub motor produces a sustained 750 watts the Ride1Up LMT’D V2 has a range of 30-50 miles thanks to the 48V LG battery.
A programmable handlebar-mounted color display shows relevant ride data such as speed, miles, battery level and pedal-assist mode. The thumb throttle is mounted on the left side of the handlebar.
Safety and convenience features include a 60 lux front light, fender integrated rear light and hardened metal alloy front and rear fenders. A rear rack is available as an optional purchase.
The Ride1Up LMT’D is available in a step-thru or step-over frame in the following color schemes: Charcoal Satin, Ivory White and Mohavi. As of publishing the bike retails for $1,595 at ride1up.com
