The HovScout Full Suspension eBike promises a cushy ride thanks to big four-inch-wide fat bike wheels and front and rear suspension.
The HovScout’s rear four-bar linkage suspension has adjustable rebound controls and a lockout mode, while the front suspension fork features a coil spring. As the suspension will help riders go faster over uneven terrain, hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors ensure the bike can stop.
Like most eBikes these days, the HovScout Full Suspension eBike has a seven-speed drivetrain. Gearing is courtesy a 42 tooth front chainring and 14-28 tooth rear cassette.
With a 750-watt rear hub motor, the HovScout can reach speeds up to 28 mph. The bike’s 48-volt battery is stored inside the frame and can be charged on or off the bike. Range on a single charge is listed at up to 60 miles in pedal assist mode or 40 miles on pure electric power mode.
An easy to read LCD Display with Backlight Screen, presents relevant ride data such as speed, distance, PAS mode and more. The display also connects to the Hovsco App, which is available for both Apple and Android devices.
Weighing in at 72.8 lbs, the Hovscout has a weight limit of 450 pounds. It is available in Glossy Green or Gray color schemes and currently costs $1,999 at Hovsco.com.
