Jasion EB5 Roamer eBike
The Jasion EB5 Roamer is an urban commuter eBike designed for city streets that retails for less than $700.
The EB5 Roamer‘s 750-watt rear-hub motor peaks at 1,200 watts and can move the bike to speeds up to 28 mph. The 48V 11Ah removable battery promises a range of up to 62 miles depending on conditions.
The LCD display shows speed, battery, distance, and Pedal Assist level. There are 5 PAS levels as well as a throttle only option. The EB5 Roamer features fast-charging technology that fully charges in just 4-5 hours.
In terms of lights, the Jasion EB5 Roamer is equipped with a comprehensive lighting system including integrated LED headlight, tail/brake light, and left and right turn signals. Easily activated via handlebar controls, the turn signals remain functional even when other lights are off, ensuring consistent safety throughout your ride. An electronic horn is also part of the package.
On the analog side of the bike, the EB5 Roamer utilizes a 7-speed Shimano drivetrain, mechanical disc brakes, manually adjustable front suspension fork with 80mm of travel and a durable aluminum frame. The redesigned side keyhole position eliminates the need to bend down to access the battery.
A rear rack is standard and allows for cargo, while front and rear fenders help keep the rider clean. The EB5 Roamer is Jasion’s first model equipped with 26″ x 1.95″ puncture-resistant tires with a reflective stripe for enhanced visibility.
The bike is UL 2271 battery certified and UL 2849 vehicle certified. The EB5 Roamer weighs approximately 65 pounds and can carry up to 330 pounds including the rider. Recommended rider height is between 5’2″ to 6’6″ tall.
The Jasion EB5 Roamer is available in black, blue or green colors and retails for $659 at jasionbike.com. It is also available with a step-thru frame.
