While it’s listed as a Commuter eBike online, the Puckipuppy Beagle offers more than just a way to ride to work.
Puckipuppy is a company that was inspired by its owner’s dog Pudding, and therefore all of the models are named after dog breeds.
The Puckipuppy Beagle rolls on 26X4″ fat bike tires. The listed range is 35 to 55 miles on a charge via the peak 960 watt motor paired to a 48V 15.0Ah battery. The top speed is 28 miles per hour.
Payload capacity comes in at 400 pounds including the rider. With an aluminum frame, the Puckipuppy Beagle weighs 66 pounds.
A color LED display shows data such as pedal-assist level, speed, mileage and more.
Like many eBikes in its class, the Beagle’s drivetrain consists of a singe chainring and a 7-speed cassette. The drivetrain is powered by Shimano shifter and derailleur. Mechanical disc brakes provide stopping power.
An adjustable suspension fork helps mellow out the bumps, while front and rear fenders keep water and road grime from hitting the rider.
A headlight and rear rack round out the eBike’s features.
“The Beagle bike is beloved for its versatility and reliability, catering to commuters,” said Emily Brown, Puckipuppy Sales Manager.
The Puckipuppy Beagle currently retails for $1,199 at Puckipuppy.com. It is available in navy blue + gray, orange, bionic camouflage and blue gray color schemes.
