The Luckeep X3 is a full suspension electric bike that rolls on small wheels, but is fully off-road capable.
While Luckeep’s X1 line of 20-inch bikes utilize a folding frame, the X3 has a standard frame. It keeps the 20 inch wheels and 4-inch fat tires, but ups the ante with front and rear suspension. Up front you’ll find a hydraulic suspension fork with lockout and the rear shock features a four-bar linkage suspension.
The fork isn’t the only hydraulic system on the Luckeep X3; The bike features front and rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes with 180mm Rotors. Like most eBikes these days, the X3 comes with a 1×7 Shimano drivetrain.
A 750w rear hub motor gives the X3 a top speed of 28 mph using the thumb throttle. The 48V removable Internal Lithium-ion battery gives the bike a 40-mile range on throttle mode and 70 miles on pedal assist mode, of which there are five.
A front headlight offers visibility and a taillight with turn signals and brake light helps communicate the rider’s intentions to those behind. A rear rack is also part of the package.
The X3 weighs 75 lbs and has a total weight limit of 330 pounds. It comes in one size and fits most riders between 5’4″-6’4″. Available in green, orange or white colors, the X3 retails for $1,459 at luckeepbike.com.
