The Qronge Meteors ST eBike is the step-thru version of the lightweight commuting and errand-running machine.
Powered by a 750-watt rear hub motor, the Meteors ST can reach a top speed of 25 mph. A frame-integrated 36-volt battery gives the bike a range of up to 70 miles in pedal assist mode.
Like most eBikes, in its price range, the Meteors ST has a 1×7 Shimano drivetrain and mechanical disc brakes. An adjustable front suspension fork helps keep the bumps at bay and front and rear lights are standard. The Qronge Meteors ST eBike’s wheels are 26-inch and are wrapped in 1.95″ tires.
The control panel displays relevant ride data such as speed and distance, but also includes a USB port so that riders can charge or power their devices on the go.
The Meteors ST has five riding modes: pure electric (throttle), pedal assist, manual (no motor), a walking mode and cruise control.
Weighing in at just 56 pounds, the meteors has a weight limit of 350 pounds and will fit riders between 5’3″ and 6’3″. It is available in White, Gray or Cyan color schemes and currently retails for $699.99 at qronge.com. A high-step version that comes in Black, Orange or Blue colors is also available.
A free “gift pack” worth $342 is currently offered and includes a rear rack, front basket, lock, mirrors, front and rear fenders, a phone holder and water bottle cage.
