The Aipas V1 Velo Moped offers plenty of customization options via four different body configurations and two battery sizes.
With the 18.2Ah battery, the V1 gets an advertised 90 miles per charge. But upgrade to the 30Ah battery and the range increases to 162 miles. The 48v batteries use UL-certified Samsung cells and are disguised as a moto fuel tank.
Powering the Aipas V1 Velo Moped is a Bafang 1500-watt rear hub motor, capable of pushing the bike over 33 mph. Five pedal assist modes are offered and a full-color LCD display not only shows PAS level, speed and miles, but also has a built-in USB charging port. On throttle mode, speed is controlled by a moto-style twist throttle or optional thumb throttle.
Analog bike features include a 1×7 drivetrain with 52-tooth front chaining and a 14-28 tooth freewheel in the back. Front and rear mechanical disc brakes with 180mm rotors are included.
The aluminum frame is equipped with front and rear suspension, BMX handlebars and 20×4″ Chaoyang All-Terrain tires.
For safety and visibility the Aipas V1 Velo Moped eBike is outfitted with a dual-bulb headlight and rear taillight with brake and turn signals. Front and rear fenders are also standard on each model.
The Vi has four different configurations: Standard, Pro, Max and Pro Max, which offer different body panels, frame baskets and light and wheel covers. It is available in black or blue color schemes and currently retails for between $919 and $1,249 at aipasbike.com.
