Burchda U8 eBike
The Burchda U8 is a long-range step-through fat tire eBike that can accommodate two riders and retails for $949.
The U8‘s standout feature is its 48V 31.5Ah (1,512Wh) removable lithium battery — one of the largest battery packs available on a consumer eBike at this price point — delivering a maximum range of up to 110 miles on pedal assist per charge.
The 500W brushless geared rear hub motor peaks at 1,000 watts with 75 N·m of torque, with a top speed of 25 mph. The step-through frame design allows easy mounting and dismounting for riders of all heights, and the adjustable hydraulic front suspension fork can be tuned for compliance on rough surfaces or stiffened for more responsive handling.
The U8 rolls on 20 x 4.0-inch fat tires suited for city streets, light trails, and uneven pavement. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, 5 PAS levels plus throttle and cruise control, and a smart colorful LCD display are all included. The oversized cushioned saddle is designed for long-distance comfort. Standard accessories include metal fenders, a front basket, rear rack seat cushion, phone holder, air pump, and lock. The maximum payload is 396 pounds.
The Burchda U8 is available in Black, Blue, White, and additional color options and retails for $949 at burchdabikes.com. It comes with free shipping, a 30-day return policy, and a 2-year warranty.
