Ride1Up Vorsa FT eBike
The Ride1Up Vorsa FT is the fat tire variant of the Vorsa platform, sharing the same modular SUV-inspired frame and 440-pound payload capacity as the standard Vorsa while adding wider tires for improved traction and stability on loose or uneven surfaces.
The key difference from the standard Vorsa is the rubber: the Vorsa FT rolls on 26 x 4-inch Kenda Krusade fat tires with thorn protection in place of the Vorsa’s 27.5 x 2.6-inch Schwalbe Smart Sam touring tires. The wider contact patch improves grip on sand, gravel, dirt, and wet pavement, making the FT a stronger choice for riders who frequently venture off paved roads. The added tire volume also increases the bike’s overall weight to 72 pounds without add-ons and 77 pounds with the included rear rack — seven pounds heavier than the standard Vorsa.
Like the standard Vorsa, the FT is powered by a 750-watt AKM hub motor with 95Nm of torque paired to a 15Ah Reention Flamingo battery with Samsung 50GB cells, giving 30-60 miles of range. The Ride1Up ‘most customizable PAS’ color display features iOS FindMy tracking and USB-C accessory charging, and the dual-sensor pedal assist system combines Ride1Up’s Intui-Drive torque sensor with the R1CBC cadence sensor. The multi-class speed system lets riders configure the bike between Class 2, Class 3, and off-road mode for speeds up to 28 mph.

The Vorsa FT includes the 150-pound rated semi-integrated modular rear rack, front and rear 4-inch metal alloy fenders, and fender-integrated brake-activated rear light — the same modular accessory ecosystem as the standard Vorsa, including compatibility with the passenger kit, rear rack extension, baskets, and all Connect+ add-ons. Star Union hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm front and 203mm rear rotors provide stopping power. Shifting is handled by a Shimano Acera 8-speed trigger shifter tied to an 11-32T cassette and 48T chainring. A 100mm coil spring suspension fork with hydraulic lockout, the multi-point adjustable stem, and the 100 lux stem-integrated front light round out the build.
The Vorsa FT is available in Glacier, Sage, Slate, and Snow in either a step-through or step-over frame. As of publishing, the Vorsa FT retails for $1,895 at ride1up.com. In addition to the standard Vorsa, the Vorsa is also available in a Lite version.
