Kingbull Discover 2.0 Fat Tire eBike
The Kingbull Discover 2.0 is a 26-inch fat tire eBike designed for riders who want all-terrain capability and city-ready components in a single bike, available in both step-over and step-through frame styles.
The Discover 2.0 is powered by a custom Bafang 750W brushless rear hub motor with 1,300W peak output and 80 N·m of torque, paired with a torque sensor for smooth, proportional power delivery that adjusts in real time to pedaling effort.
Five pedal assist levels plus a throttle top the bike out at 28 mph in Class 3 mode, switchable to Class 2 at 20 mph via the display. The 48V 15Ah (720Wh) Samsung lithium battery is integrated into the downtube with a color-matched finish, removable with a key lock for indoor charging, and rated for a maximum range of up to 60 miles per charge.
Independent reviewers have returned 39–40 miles at maximum assist on hilly terrain and closer to 60 miles at low assist on flat ground. A 48V 3A charger is included for a full charge in approximately 5–6 hours. The Shimano 7-speed drivetrain handles gearing, and a backlit color display readable in direct sunlight shows speed, battery level, assist mode, and distance.
The all-aluminum frame uses a tapered head tube, guided internal wiring, and a 30.4mm seat tube, and rides on 26 x 4.0-inch CST all-terrain fat tires on 36-hole aluminum alloy wheels with copper spoke caps.
A front suspension fork with 80mm of travel provides smooth compliance on rough pavement and light trails. ZOOM HB-875-E dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors and power-off brake levers handle stopping on both models. An integrated 48V LED headlight, brake-activated rear taillight, rear rack rated for 150 pounds, front and rear fenders, adjustable kickstand, and a cable lock and air pump are all included standard.
The seat height is adjustable from 32 to 39 inches, suitable for riders from 5’3″ to 6’6″. The step-over model weighs 76.5 pounds; the step-through is slightly lighter at 74 pounds. Both support a maximum payload of 400 pounds and are IPX6 rated and UL 2849 certified.
The step-over and step-through frames are otherwise mechanically identical. The Discover ST 2.0 step-through frame uses the same TROG-1B torque sensor and is the better choice for riders who prefer easier mounting and dismounting, including shorter riders, seniors, and anyone who stops frequently in traffic.
