ECLIO Lumeo 2 Carbon Fiber Electric Bike
The ECLIO Lumeo 2 is a carbon fiber commuter eBike built around a dual-battery system, delivering up to 120 miles of range and a 1000W peak motor in a package that weighs just 67 pounds, which is impressive for a bike carrying nearly a kilowatt-hour of battery.
The Lumeo 2′s headline feature is its dual 48V 10Ah battery configuration totaling 921Wh, which is substantially more capacity than the 374–800Wh packs typically found on commuter eBikes in and around its $1,599 price point. ECLIO claims up to 120 miles on pedal assist; throttle-only range is rated at 50 miles, which is a reasonable expectation given the battery size and real-world variables like rider weight, terrain, and temperature. Both batteries are IPX5-rated.
Power comes from a rear hub motor rated at 1000W peak, driven by a 48V controller. The default top speed is 20 mph in compliance with Class 2 regulations, with the motor assist adjustable up to 28 mph. Climbing ability is rated at 14 degrees, which covers most urban grades comfortably. The Lumeo 2 uses a throttle as well as a 5-level pedal assist system.
The carbon fiber frame is the Lumeo 2’s most distinguishing spec at this price. Carbon is uncommon below $2,000 in the eBike market; most competitors use aluminum alloy in this range. The front fork is aluminum alloy. The Lumen 2 rolls on 26 x 2.5-inch tires on 26-inch aluminum alloy wheels, which contributes to comfort and stability without a suspension fork. Braking is handled by a hydraulic disc system.
The drivetrain is a Shimano M310 7-speed with a 52T crankset, which is a higher gear ratio than the 46T found on many commuter eBikes and better suited to riders who want to pedal meaningfully at higher assist speeds. A rear rack rated at 77 lbs (35 kg) is integrated. A 60-lux LED headlight is standard. NFC smart unlock is also included.
Rider fit spans a seat height range of 820–1070mm (approximately 32–42 inches), with a standover height of 560mm and wheelbase of 1150mm. Handlebar width is 640mm.
