The ECLIO Otium 2 is a city cruiser eBike designed around everyday urban riding, pairing a 1000W peak motor and 768Wh battery with practical commuter extras like a front basket and integrated rear rack. At $899, it’s one of the more affordable full-featured city eBikes in its class.

The Otium 2‘s battery is a single IPX5-rated 48V 16Ah pack totaling 768Wh. ECLIO claims up to 60 miles on pedal assist and 38 miles on throttle alone. The Lumeo 2, ECLIO’s carbon fiber model, carries 921Wh across dual batteries; the Otium 2 trades some range and the premium frame material for a significantly lower price point.

Power comes from a rear hub motor rated at 1000W peak, using the same 48V controller with 9 MOSFETs found across the ECLIO lineup. Default top speed is 20 mph in Class 2 mode. The limit is adjustable up to 28 mph. Climbing ability is rated at 14 degrees, consistent with other models in the range.

The frame is full aluminum alloy, as is the front fork. The bike rolls on 26 x 2.125-inch tires on 26-inch aluminum alloy wheels. The brake spec is listed as disc, though specific caliper details are not published. The drivetrain is a Shimano TZ500 7-speed with a 38T crankset.
