HovRanger 27.5″ Mountain eBike by Hovsco

The Hovsco HovRanger bucks the fat bike trend and instead utilizes a platform with 27.5-inch wheels.
Weighing in at a (lighter than most) 55.8 pounds, the Hovsco HovRanger has a weight limit of 300 pounds and rolls on 27.5 x 2.25″ eBike-rated tires. The aluminum frame is a hardtail (no rear suspension), but a 75mm travel front suspension fork with lockout feature is included.
Gearing is pretty standard with a 1×7 drivetrain utilizing a 14-28 tooth cassette. Hydraulic disc brakes with beefy 180mm rotors should provide ample stopping power.
A 500-watt motor pushes the mountain eBike to a top speed of 28 mph thanks to 970-watt peak output. The 48-volt removable battery promises a range of up to 60 miles per charge. A full charge takes about 7 hours.
Like most bikes in its class, the HovRanger has five pedal assist modes that allow the rider to tailor the max speed that the bike will go while pedaling. The HovRanger’s torque sensor measures the amount of power the rider is outputting to the pedals and adjusts the electric assist based on the pedaling power.
An easy to read backlit LCD display shows battery, speed, pedal assist level, range, and distance and also connects to the Hovsco App.
A rear rack is included and fenders and a front rack are available as options.
