ENVO Stax Pro Electric Road Bike
The ENVO Stax Pro is a Canadian-engineered lightweight electric road bike designed to look, feel, and ride like a traditional bicycle.
At 42 pounds, the Stax Pro is one of the lightest eBikes in its class. The hydroformed 6061 aluminum alloy TIG-welded frame uses T6 heat treatment for a refined, smooth finish with all welds smoothed, all cables routed internally, and the headlight integrated directly into the frame. The result is a clean, streamlined silhouette that reads as a conventional road bike rather than an eBike. A ZOOM 109D mono-shock suspension fork with 25mm of travel and internal cable routing adds compliance for road imperfections without compromising the bike’s slim profile.
Power comes from a 36V 500W brushless rear hub motor paired with a torque sensor for natural, proportional assist. Top speed is 32 km/h (20 mph) in Class 2 configuration. The 36V 12.8Ah (460Wh) UL 2271-certified removable battery uses LG/Panasonic Li-Ion cells optimized for cold-weather performance, with a range of up to 100 km (62 miles) per charge.
The battery features CANBUS communication with the controller and charger for real-time cell health monitoring and smart charging, and can be charged on or off the frame with the included 36V 2A CC-CV smart charger. A dual-battery option is available that can extend range to approximately 200 km (124 miles). The Smart Color LCD Display includes Bluetooth connectivity for the ENVO app.
Stopping is handled by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, with electric cut-off sensors that cut motor power when the brakes are applied. The drivetrain is Shimano Altus 8-speed. The Stax Pro rolls on Kenda K1153 27.5 x 1.95-inch hybrid tires. An adjustable 680mm handlebar with 9-degree back sweep, a 40 LUX battery-powered integrated LED headlight, rear rack, fenders, kickstand, and throttle are all included standard. The bike is sized for riders from 5’5″ to 6’5″ (inseam 30″–37″) and is UL 2849 certified.
