The MOD Easy 3 is MOD’s iconic electric cruiser, pairing a 1940s Harley-inspired retro frame with a torque-sensing motor, dual suspension, and a sidecar-compatible platform for riders who want laid-back style without sacrificing modern performance.

The Easy 3 is powered by MOD’s 750W geared hub motor delivering 69 N·m of torque through a torque sensor pedal assist system with five programmable riding modes: Fit, Eco, Cargo, Sport, and Turbo. The bike is a Class 2, with a 20 mph top speed, adjustable to Class 1 or Class 3 at 28 mph via the display menu. An optional thumb throttle is available in Class 2 mode.

The Samsung Li-ion 48V 15Ah (720Wh) battery is SGS-tested and compliant to UL 2271 standards, is removable for indoor charging, and is dual battery compatible. Adding a second battery via the Snap-On Rack extends the range from 50 miles to 100 miles, with riders manually swapping batteries to extend the ride.

The MOD BIKES S3 Smart Color Display includes a USB charging port and a 4-digit password lock for the electrical system, with fully customizable electric system settings accessible through the display menu.

The dual suspension system pairs a Mozo front fork with 100mm of travel, preload adjustment, and lockout with an EXA Form 525 suspension seatpost delivering 40mm of rear compliance, producing a planted, comfortable ride on paved roads, gravel, and light off-road surfaces.

The Easy 3 rolls on Kenda Flame 24 x 3.0-inch multi-terrain tires on 24 x 80mm rims. Stopping is handled by dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors, motor inhibitors, adjustable reach levers, and an integrated handbrake for parking on slopes. The LT-WOO 7-speed trigger shifter pairs with a Shimano Altus 7-speed derailleur and DNP 11-32T freewheel. The 52T crankset includes double-sided aluminum bash guards.

A multi-purpose Snap-On rear rack (65 lb capacity, child seat ready), full-cover aluminum fenders, a retro cafe racer LED headlight with clear and amber lenses, a premium aluminum bell, faux leather ergonomic grips, and a Selle Royal premium gel saddle are all included standard. MOD Connect allows riders to wirelessly pair a compatible Lumos smart helmet to sync and control turn signals and brake light directly from the bike’s handlebar controls.

The bike weighs 73 pounds without the battery (7.5 lbs) and 80.5 lbs with it, and supports a payload capacity of 300 pounds. Rider height range is 5’3″ to 6’9″. The Easy 3 is sidecar compatible. It is HSA/FSA eligible.

The MOD Easy 3 is currently available as a pre-order shipping June 2026 in Army Green and Charcoal Black, and retails for $2,399 at mod-bikes.com. It ships free to the continental US and Canada, includes a 14-day at-home trial, and comes with a 5-year limited warranty (frame: 5 years; electric system, fork/suspension: 18 months; drivetrain: 12 months).
