Qlife Spark Moped-Style Electric Bike
The Qlife Spark is a moped-style fat tire eBike built around a 1800W peak motor, full suspension, and a 48V 15.6Ah battery starting at $699.
The Spark‘s standard battery is a removable 48V 15.6Ah pack totaling approximately 749Wh, rated IP54. Qlife claims up to 75 miles of range on pedal assist on a single charge, with a 4–6 hour charge time using the included 54.6V/2A charger. The dual battery configuration doubles the pack capacity for riders who need more range. Real-world range will vary based on rider weight, terrain, assist level, and speed.
Power comes from a 1800W peak brushless rear hub motor producing 85 Nm of torque on a 48V system. Top speed is rated at 35+ mph, which classifies the Spark as a Class 3 eBike. Class 3 bikes are restricted or prohibited on many shared-use paths and trails; riders should verify local regulations before riding on public infrastructure. Climbing ability is not listed on the product page.
The Spark features an adjustable dual-damping front fork paired with a rear shock absorber mounted beneath the frame. The front fork uses a dual-shoulder design rather than a single-shoulder setup, which Qlife notes provides improved vibration absorption and allows the rider to adjust damping firmness for different terrain.
Braking is handled by front and rear mechanical disc brakes rather than the hydraulic disc brakes found on the higher-spec Spark Plus and Spark Max. Tires are 20 x 4.0-inch fat, puncture-resistant. The drivetrain is a Shimano 7-speed with thumb throttle. Payload capacity is rated at 360 lbs, and an optional rear rack (sold separately, or included in the With Rear Rack configuration at $759) is rated at 120 lbs.
The display is a center-mounted HD LCD color unit showing speed, battery level, pedal assist level, mileage, and power output. A motorcycle-style headlight ships in the box as a separate component to be installed at assembly. An integrated rear brake light activates automatically on braking. The seat uses a one-piece high-density foam design with a low-front, high-rear profile and Harley-inspired footrest positioning for a cruiser riding posture. The bike ships approximately 90% assembled with all necessary tools included.
